Developing an interest in music early on in school with classical instruments, he later found a deeper passion for music playing guitar in his teenaged metal band. Not too long after graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Ethnomusicology, he began his journey creating music & designing sound for film/television. Travis plays a variety of instruments, drawing from many different musical styles & genres in his compositions.
